Video: Cadence Bank Launches Virtual Teller

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – If you like to “face time” on your phone, you can now “face-time” with your bank teller at one local bank.

Cadence Bank is introducing a new interactive teller machine to its customers.

It looks like an ATM but with video chat technology.

Customers can connect with a live teller at Cadence’s Operations Center in Starkville to complete transactions.

The teller can verify a person’s identity and cash and deposit checks sooner compared to a traditional ATM.

Community Banking President Doug Robertson says the new device is a win-win for customers and tellers.

“Our bank is even adding jobs to the Starkville distribution center where the tellers are housed. It’s just an added benefit to reach out and touch our customers”
The Live interactive teller machine is open Monday through Friday 7 AM to 7 Pm–on Saturday–8 to 12.

Cadence has handled more than 13-hundred transactions on the machine at its Columbus location.

The bank’s Starkville location also offers the interactive teller machine.
