Video: Calhoun County K-9 Dies on the Job

CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) -The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department K9 died on duty Monday.

Five year-old Aquiles died after choking on something early this morning.

The sheriff’s department made the announcement on its Facebook page, calling the K9 deputy a friend and co-worker.

Deputy Kenneth White was the handler and partner for Aquiles all four years he was with the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says eventually the department will purchase another K9.
