Video: Challenge Automation Looks to Relocate to New West Tupelo Facility

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A Tupelo company is expanding and adding jobs in the process.

This morning,officials with Challenge Automation announced they are relocating their business to a new facility in West Tupelo.

The $800,000 investment doubles their square footage, and will mean an additional 6-10 full time jobs over the next year.

The company’s owner credits dedicated employees for helping his business flourish.

“The drive that my employees have said a lot. I don’t think I could have done this with any specific, any random team, this was a group of people I had hired, and worked with for the last 14, 15, 20 years, and the kind of economic downturn we had it took a lot of scrambling, a lot of grit, a lot of hard work and we had the right people at the right time to do it,” Eric Nanny with Challenge Automation said.

Challenge Automation designs and builds custom and automated equipment. The company employs 23 people.
