Video: Choctaw Nation Announces plans to Renovate Casino Complex

PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (WCBI) – Work is set to begin next month on a major renovation effort at The Silver Star and Golden Moon Casinos at the Pearl River Resort. The Mississippi Band Of Choctaw Indians have finalized a 175 million dollar financing package that restructures some old debt and gives the Tribe up to 75 million to spend on the hotel and casino upgrades. The bulk of that money will be used to essentially rebuild each of the resort hotels from scratch. The first phase of the renovations is targeted to be finished in November The Tribe adds it plans to return the Golden Moon casino to a 24 seven operation again. Currently the casino floor at the Golden Moon only operates on weekends
