Video: Circuit Clerks Expect a Rush of Absentee Voters in GOP Run-off

NORTH MISSISSIPPI (WCBI) — Absentee voting for the June 24th U.S. Senate runoff between Republicans Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel likely won’t begin until Saturday. State election officials may will certify the returns from the contentious June 3rd primary Thursday or Friday. Absentee voting can’t begin until that happens. Circuit Court clerks offices across the state will be open from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday for absentee voters. Most say they expect a rush of absentee voters with such a short window before the runoff date.
