Video: Columbus Church Hosts Easter Extravaganza

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus church is celebrating Easter, while raising money to help local teens.

On Sunday afternoon, Abundant Life Christian Church hosted its first Easter Extravaganza dinner, where they invited the community to the Trotter Convention Center to celebrate Christ’s resurrection.

The event also served as a fundraiser for the church’s teen group. They’ll be making a trip to Houston, Texas this summer for a spiritual encounter.

Residents enjoyed lots of praise music, words of encouragement, and a meal.

Church leaders say they sold nearly 400 tickets for Sunday’s event.
