COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus city leaders may soon put restrictions on citizens who want to give input during council meetings.

The council Tuesday night named a 5-person committee to consider changes to its citizen input process.

One starting point may be getting involved with department heads in advance about their concerns.

The committee will also likely encourage enforcement of the 3-5 minute time limit already in place.
