Video: Columbus Councilmen Say ‘No’ to New Billboards on Highway 45

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Councilmen voted not to lift a moratorium on new billboards in the city. A Hattiesburg business owner has been lobbying the city to allow a new digital sign along Highway 45 North at Walmart and another along Highway 82, near the downtown soccer complex. The city however is open to talks with Lamar Advertising about replacing old signs.
