Video: Columbus Police Make Arrest in Last Week’s String of Hotel Robberies

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — An arrest has been made in connection to two recent Columbus hotel robberies.

Columbus police have arrested 23-year-old Columbus resident Keenan Montgomery, and charged him with the Ramada Inn and Fairfield Inn armed robberies that occurred early last year.

Authorities say Montgomery is not cooperating with the police investigation, and indicated more arrests may be on the way.

Information about the weapon used during the robberies has not been released.

Montgomery’s bond has been set at $300,000, and a preliminary hearing has been slated for Aug. 7.
