COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Some Columbus Middle School students learn some life skills during after school classes.

Project Falcon SOAAR teaches the 32 kids three pillars, including manners, confidence and how to dress.

Under those three topics, students learned about setting goals, dining etiquette, and body language since October.

This week they put those skills to the test for a wrap up review.

Students were amazed by what they learned through the courses.

“It’s gave us a new field to adventure into. I never thought I’d be an engineer or in an engineering program, but they showed us new things that I never thought I’d be able to do. And it was very exciting and very good to learn.”
“I love working in a group, like, people in my group. They are so fun and eccentric. And they are very easy to work with.”>

Project Falcon SOAAR is paid for through a grant.
