Video: County Roads, A Perennial Political Problem

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s seems to be an annual debate with Oktibbeha County supervisors and the answer appears to be the same.

After two separate groups of residents asked for improvements to roads in their neighborhoods, District two Supervisor Orlando Trainer once again pushed for a major road bond issue. That measure was shot down.

Most suggested next year might be better for a discussion, once the Oktibbeha County – Starkville school merger has started… and a new board of supervisors is in place after the election.
