EVERGREEN, Miss. (WCBI) – The people of the Evergreen Community were fortunate that the weather warmed up, Saturday.

People enjoyed the mild weather as they lined up to see that community’s parade.

Of course Santa took time from his busy schedule at the North Pole to come for an appearance with a few of his elves, who threw candy to the spectators who used their truck doors for seats along the route.

And they had own horse drawn wagon as children and adults scampered to pick up candy.

The wagon was also followed by men on horseback as the parade headed south on Highway 371.
