Video: Fatal Fire in Corinth may have been Intentionally set

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) – Corinth Police suspect foul play in a house fire that claimed the lives of two brothers from Corinth. Investigators mentioned ruling the deaths of 64 year old Jerry Copeland and his brother, 66 year old James Copeland as homicides. State authorities and members of the Corinth Fire Department spent their day combing through the rubble at the  home on North Second Street. That is where the bodies of the Copeland Brothers were discovered early Thursday morning. By the time firefighters responded, the wood frame home was fully engulfed in flames.

The bodies have been sent to Jackson for autopsy. In the meantime, Investigators hope that evidence recovered from the scene can lead to a definitive cause of the blaze.
