Video: Favorite Disney Characters Come to Life in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -That is a small part of the Halloween production number from “Disney On Ice; Let’s Celebrate.” The show began its four day Tupelo run Thursday evening at the Bancorpsouth Arena. It is billed as “one big colossal party on ice.”

Nearly 40 skaters portray characters such as Mulan, Buzz Lightyear, The Little Mermaid, and of course, Mickey and Minnie.[TAKE SOT]

“You get to see people that come out, in every area of the world, and they will come out and make friends with the front row and they are dancing with neighbors and stuff like that and people they’ve never met before so not only are they enjoying the show, they are meeting new people, having their own little experience, it’s , I have a blast doing what I do and I hope everybody who comes and watches it has the same thing.”

On Saturday evening, WCBI’s Allie Martin and his daughter, Alyssa will intro the big show.
