Video: Fire Breaks Out at Lumber Mill

ELLIOTT, Miss. (WCBI) — A fire was contained at a Lumber Mill, thanks to quick action by first responders.

Several volunteer firefighters responded to Hankins Lumber Mill in Elliott, just five miles southeast of Grenada.

The plant manufactures southern yellow pine lumber products.

Firemen tell WCBI the fire started inside and then onto a conveyor belt in a part of the plant.

Operations continued as normal after the flames were contained.

No injuries were reported.
