Video: Fire Damages Auburn Area Home

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Lee County family loses their home to a fire Monday morning.

It was around 8 AM when firefighters were called to this house on County Road 1562 in the Auburn Community.

No one was home when the fire broke out, but firefighters later found two cats inside the house, that succumbed to smoke.

Fire trucks from Mooreville-Eggville, Richmond, Saltillo and Verona responded. Investigators are trying to find what sparked the blaze.
