Video: Fire Destroys Maben Home

MABEN, Miss.(WCBI)–A Friday morning fire completely destroys a home in the tiny Oktibbeha County town of Maben.

The call came in to Mathiston Fire & Rescue around nine thirty. Webster and Oktibbeha County Firefighters were on the scene at the Banks Drive location within about 10 minutes.

The structure was fully involved when they arrived at the home of Maben resident Lora Banks. Banks apparently escaped the blaze and did not appear injured.

Fire officials declined to comment on the cause of the blaze under investigation.
