Video: Students Win Chance to Read Story on Radio

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Five Henderson students got the chance to tell a story Thursday (12-13). Abigayle Green, Tanner Moore, Caroline Nobles, Rebecca Pan, and Kyra Warnock were chose from hundreds of entries across the state by a judge panel from the Mississippi Writing and Thinking Institute. The five chosen got the opportunity to participate in Rural Voice Radio where they could record their stories at MSU. ” My stories was hoping for a sister it is about the time I learned that I went that I was going to get a brother instead of a get a little sister I want, ” said Abigayle Green a Henderson 5th grader. “I read-my Dad save my life on the radio last week at the Mississippi Thinking Institute,” said Kyra Warnock another Henderson 5th grader. Their stories will be aired at a later date on Mississippi Public Broadcasting Radio.
