Video: Flipped Log Truck Slows Traffic in Pickens County

PICKENS COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) — A load of logs leaves traffic snarled in Pickens County.

At about 3 p.m. this afternoon, a log truck heading east on Highway 86 near Carrollton overturned spilling its load across both lanes of the highway.

The truck driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Traffic in both lanes was stalled while crews worked to clear the logs.

The Alabama Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
