Video: Footage Reveals Moments Inside Tupelo Tornado

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Storm spotter video of the Tupelo tornado has already made the rounds, but now a glimpse inside the storm has surfaced.

This is the security camera overlooking the playground at St. Luke United Methodist Church.

As you can see, the camera captured the moments when the winds began picking up and what follows in the next few seconds is astounding.

You can see chunks of the church roof and other debris begin littering the playground and in seconds it is covered.

The church sustained heavy damage but plans are already underway to repair the building in the same spot.
