FAYETTE COUNTY, Ala. (WCBI) — A former Fayette County water board manager has been indicted.

The indictments accuse 58-year-old Scotty Moore of using a city credit card to spend thousands of taxpayer money on strip clubs, and women’s clothing.

The allegations are part of a slew of theft and ethics charges against Moore.

He turned himself in to authorities Wednesday, and has since been released on $180,000 bond.

Moore resigned from his job as the manager of Fayette’s Water Works Board in March of last year.
