Video: Fulton Searching for New Chamber Head

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) – The search is on for a director for Fulton’s Chamber of Commerce. A steering committee has started a search for an executive director for the newly formed Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

The new director will not be an employee of the city, but will act as a liasion between the city and local businesses.

The director will also head business development efforts in Fulton and will develop community events to attract visitors.

“We want someone that is invested in the community and sees everything that Fulton has to offer, it will be a great opportunity because we are on the verge of something big in Fulton, I hope everyone can see that and I hope the director sees that also.”

The chamber committee hopes to have someone named to the post by early fall.
