Video: Good Grades + Good Behavior = New Wheels

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -A year’s worth of good behavior earns a Columbus student some new wheels.

Mariah Latham, a third grader at Franklin Academy, rode home from school Wednesday on one of Regions Bank’s signature green bicycles.

Latham earned the most “Learning Earning’s Credits” this school year. Students at Franklin earn the credits as rewards for positive behaviors, such as: good grades, perfect attendance, no tardies,  and good behavior.

She racked up 866 credits this year.

Lisa Pharr of Columbus’ Regions Bank presented her with the bike Wednesday afternoon.
