Video: Heritage Academy Seniors Take ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The entire senior class of Heritage Academy was soaked this afternoon.

50 seniors this afternoon took the ALS Ice Bucket challenge in front of the Heritage Academy building.

The challenge was part of the schools 50 Acts of Service initiative in which the school hopes to raise $500.

Heritage Academy seniors and seventh graders engage in a mentoring program throughout the year, and the seventh graders had the honors of dumping the ice water on the seniors.

The seniors challenged next week’s homecoming opponent Hillcrest Christian Academy to take the ice bucket challenge.
