DUCK HILL, Miss. (WCBI) – It’s a place kids dream of.

“I had one woman come in and say her little girl dreamed of Bull Bottom last night,” said farm owner, Katie Robinson.

Bull Bottom Farms is farm fun for the entire family.

“They can be so creative, they can make all this into Bull Bottom Farms,” said an excited 8-year-old, Stella Williamson.

The Duck Hill farm in Montgomery County opened to the public five years ago. It’s more than 100 acres, and has the most unique activities.

“My granddad bought the farm in 1944. He bought it from a man named John Bull and it’s in a bottom, so he always called it Bull Bottom. We started from scratch, and build a little bit every year, adding a new slide or fort for the kids,” said farm owner, Nic Robinson.

At Bull Bottom Farms there is a petting zoo, pumpkin patch and corn maze, but the biggest draw, by far, is the magic carpet slide.

The double slide is great for racing, or just taking a spin. Jump around on the giant jumping pillow too.

“The jumping pillow is actually anchored into the ground and flat until we blow it up, and it’s just air in there,” Katie Robinson said.

There’s also a cow train and a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch, and a tiny town for children to play pretend in.

“They’ve got these buildings, and they’re just tiny. There’s actually a jail too,” Williamson mentioned.

“The kids love it, and parents love it because they can let their kids run and roam. It’s a safe atmosphere for them to play,” said Nic Robinson.

Bull Bottom Farms is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sundays from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and weekdays by appointment for school groups. Admission is $8.00 for all day. It’s located at 1641 Sayles Road. Call (662) 614-5746 or visit http://bullbottomfarms.com/ for more information. The farm will be open through November 2.
