Video: High School Students Get Up-Close Look At Nursing School

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Some area students got a head start on a career in the medical field Friday. Around 30 high school juniors and seniors got to experience a day in the life of an MUW nursing student. It was all a part of The Navigating Nursing program on the W Campus. The activities give prospective students a feel for what Nursing School is really like.

“And we like to have them come to these days, because when they come at a day students and faculty are in clinical, they don’t get a feel for what it’s like to be a nursing student.”

MUW will host another Navigating Nursing Day March 19th.
