Video: House Approves Special Education Voucher Bill

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) -A bill that would provide state funded vouchers for special education students moves forward in the Mississippi Legislature. The House passed Senate Bill 26-95 this afternoon.
The bill would create a program that would provide $6,500.00 vouchers to 500 special needs students every year.The families could use the money to pay for private school, or tutoring for the student.
Since the House made a few changes, it now returns to the Senate for more debate.
