HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) — Houston police are looking for the man who robbed a Dollar General, and attacked the clerk at knifepoint.

The armed robbery happened around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, while several customers were inside.

Chief Billy Voyles says surveillance video shows the man entering the store wearing a white medical mask, and socks to cover his hands.

He was also armed with knives.

Voyles says the video also shows the robber jumping the clerk from behind – putting her in a headlock, and cutting her hand.

The thief then took off into the woods behind the store with a bag of cash.

Voyles says they’re looking for a man who’s about five-foot-nine inches tall, with a medium build.
