Video: Hyatt Place Set To Open in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus’ newest hotel will be open in about a month, but Thursday local business leaders got a sneak peek.

The Hyatt Place on Highway forty-five,  next to Belk Department Store, hosted a hard hat tour.

Hyatt executives showed off their ninety-nine rooms, the menu from the restaurant, meeting space, and other amenities.

The project began four years ago.

The Columbus property is only the second Hyatt in Mississippi.

The Hyatt Place will open for business on December 9th.
