Video: ICC Brings Manufacturing Technology to Area School

PLANTERSVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Eighth graders in Plantersville were getting on the manufacturing bandwagon. ICC’s Mobile Manufacturing Lab made a stop at Plantersville Middle School Friday.

It was an opportunity for students to see some of the technology used at plants throughout the area, and to find out about the skills and education they’ll need to land these high-tech – good paying jobs.

“We just want to get them thinking about their careers and what they want to do when they get out of school whether it’s college , or whether it’s technical, ICC has great two year programs that are really, you can make the high wage at.”

The mobile lab travels to schools throughout the Northeast Mississippi area.
