Video: ICSD Hosts Pack the Bus Food Drive

ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Students in the Itawamba County School District have collected tons of canned goods and non-perishable items for two food banks.

This morning, students from schools throughout Itawamba County helped unload food they had collected during the past few weeks.

It’s part of the annual Pack the Bus Food Drive. Each school packs school buses full of food, then it is all delivered to the food banks for distribution.

Food will go to food banks in Fulton and Mantachie.

Volunteers will help distribute food boxes tomorrow at the Fulton Food Pantry. More than 700 boxes will be given out in Fulton Saturday.
