EUPORA, Miss. (WCBI) – A new industry is coming to Eupora and is leasing to own buildings from the city.
Mayor Dan Burchfield says Tilsatec will locate in the former Ansell-Hawkeye and Roseburg Forest Products buildings.

The company makes gloves and other protective gear.

Production is expected to begin in the next couple of months.

Right now, Tilsatec is restoring the buildings and moving in equipment.

Mayor Burchfield says this is one of several big economic development announcements in the Webster County town in the past six months.

“We have been in a depressionary time. But now, we’re looking at trying to come back, not only are we looking at two new companies in the last six months but the filling of four empty buildings. So, that’s why we’re excited,” said Mayor Burchfield.

The company hasn’t released how many employees could be hired.

A grand opening ceremony is in the works but hasn’t been finalized.
