Video: Jr. Grand Marshals Named for Columbus Christmas Parade

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus Main Street announces the winners of their Holiday Art Contest. At a gathering Thursday afternoon, the winners, grades K-5th, were able to see their work on display.

This year’s theme was a Super Heroes Christmas. They not only took home cash and prizes, they will march in the Columbus Christmas parades as this year’s junior grand marshals.

Over 600 entries were submitted this year. Miss Mississippi and Golden Triangle native Jasmine Murray is the Grand Marshal for the parade that is set for December 13, 2014.
