Video: Lieutenant Governor and Treasurer Qualify for 2015 Elections

JACKSON, Miss. (WCBI) – Two of the State’s top elected officials will keep their hats in the ring. Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves will seek a second term in the State’s Number two position his office announced Monday. The forty year old Republican served as State Treasurer before being elected Lieutenant Governor in 2011.

The woman who succeeded Reeves as treasurer has also formally filed to seek re-election. State Treasurer Lynn Fitch announced her candidacy as well on Monday. The Republican is serving her first term as Treasurer.
