Video: Local Group Donates Blankets to Elderly

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — Some Amory children are helping a local non-profit give back this holiday season.

On Tuesday morning, Uptown Kids Daycare donated more than 230 blankets to Legacy Hospice and the group, Love & Hugs.

50 of those blankets will be given to Legacy Hospice patients.

Love & Hugs donates blankets to nursing home residents in the area.

They’ve collected more than 800 of them for the elderly and dying this year.

If you’d like to help, send or drop off blankets and/or donations (made payable to Love & Hugs) to the Legacy Hospice office located at 212 Main Street North in Amory.
