Video: Local Law Enforcement Join Cold Water Challenge

LOWNDES CO., Miss. – (WCBI) Local law enforcement take part in the cold water challenge.
Friday afternoon, Lowndes County Chief Deputy Mark Miley, enjoyed a fresh ice bath to help children.
His charity of choice is Lebohneur Children’s hospital.
He passed on the challenge to Lowndes Sheriff Mike Arledge, Captain Billy Woods, Columbus Police Chief Tony Carleton, and Evangel Pastor Jason Delgado.
The rule is, take the plunge and pay ten dollars to Miley’s chosen charity, or stay out of the water and make a 100 dollar pledge. They have 24 hours to complete their mission.
Similar challenges have been used in Winston County to raise money for their disaster relief fund.
