Video: Local Organization Teaches Energy Efficiency

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – As the weather cools down, your electricity bill could heat up. And extreme cold could put your water pipes in danger.

Prairie Opportunity, Inc. in Starkville hosted is annual Weatherization Day Thursday to teach homeowners ways to protect their pipes and maker their homes more energy efficient.

Local vendors were there with tips and demonstrations on weather proofing.

This is the thirteenth year Prairie Opportunity has hosted Weatherization Day in Starkville.
