LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — One round is almost complete, but there are at least two more to go.

Debris removal contractors hired by the City of Louisville say they should complete the first pass through the city Friday.

The second pass is expected to begin next week, and property owners are encouraged to get trees, household materials and other items separated and to the street right-of-way this weekend so the next round can make progress.

The city’s contract with HRL Contracting requires three runs through the city, but city leaders say more may be required given the destruction in the wake of the April 28 tornado.
