LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – If you were in Winston County you may have been seeing red Thursday. Louisville joined other cities across the state in going red.

Volunteers placed red bows around town, and tonight residents were gathering to bathe the courthouse in red lights. The move is designed to raise awareness of Dyslexia.

“We just want people to know that dyslexia is a specific learning disability. It’s not that they see letters backwards. It’s the way the brain processes, and we need people to know that.”

Governor Phil Bryant also joined in the effort. Bryant, who also has dyslexia, lit the Governor’s Mansion in red tonight.
