Video: Louisville Receives $100,000 for Rebuilding Plans

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Louisville was awarded a $100,000 federal grant to help develop a rebuilding plan in the aftermath of a devastating tornado four months ago.

The Economic Development Administration grant will help develop a comprehensive land-use plan to help rebuild the infrastructure, housing and businesses in Louisville and Winston County.

It’s part of a $125,000 project being overseen by the Golden triangle Planning and Development District.

Community groups also involved in the process of developing a long-term rebuilding and recovery plan in the wake of the April 28 tornado that claimed 10 lives.
