LOUISVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) It took almost a year and the service hours of the many volunteers from Samaritan’s Church. Friday, Geraldine Hayes of Louisville received the keys to her renovated home.

Hayes’ home was badly damaged in the EF-4 tornado that ripped through Winston County on April 27, 2014.

She says it is good to be home.

“The people that had to contribute things to my home, I just can’t find words to say, If I had 10,000 tongues, I couldn’t thank them enough.
Butt to: The house had sustained some damage,” says Hayes.

Samaritan’s Purse is one the volunteer organizations that has been on the ground there since the storms. This was their first home dedication.
