Video: Luke Bryan Hayfield Concert

ARTESIA, Miss.(WCBI)–Famous country superstar Luke Bryan is bringing his farm tour to a 550 acre hay field in Lowndes County. Holtcamp Farm is where anywhere from 15 to twenty thousand fans are expected to be entertained Wednesday night on Prichard Road.

Farmer and veterinarian Dr. Andy Holtcamp surveys one of several fields he owns, this one in a rural part of Lowndes County. The place he has leased to country artist Luke Bryan and his people.

“Ha, ha, well we are sort of, we are about sort of in the tri-county area I guess for, right on the edge of Oktibbeha County southwest corner of Lowndes County, and just up the road from Noxubee County,” said Dr. Andy Holtcamp/Lowndes County Farmer.

Entertaining country music fans in a field is sure to be an event to remember for some time to come.

“Both the local community, neighbors in the area and specially my family. So, I know my daughter and several of the girls in the family are looking really forward to Luke Bryan being on the field. And we’ll be able to look back one day and say we hosted a famous country music star in a hay field,” said Andy Holtcamp.

“He has music that goes with pretty much anybody. Its got great beat and everything like that. Its country but its kind of got a little pop to it so everybody can listen to it,” said Kelsey Holley/Luke Bryan Fan.

From what we understand, portions of proceed from this kind of concert in a hideaway place, often provide scholarships for students from farming families.

“Nice music and has a nice, he has a good reputation for being a decent kind of guy so,” said Andy Holtcamp.

“I would love to be there, that’s awesome. I wish I was there so, I’m totally jealous of everybody thats going,” said Kelsey Holley.

Concert begins at 7, fan parking is at 2 pm, gates are open at 5pm.
