Video: Maben Welcomes New Dollar General

MABEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Maben’s new Dollar General store held its ribbon cutting with employees and town leaders.

Residents were lined up at the door Saturday morning to take advantage of their town’s new addition.

Mayor Larry Pruitt says it keeps citizens from driving to the next town for household items.

“It’s going to benefit our citizens going to keep them right here in town and keep our tax dollars here and also it’s going to help us beautify this highway here,” says Mayor Larry Pruitt.

The new store opened its doors August 25.
