Video: Macon Goes Blue for Child Abuse Awareness

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) -The Lawn of the Noxubee County Courthouse was a sea of blue Tuesday afternoon.Dozens of the county’s youngest residents turned out to help prevent Child Abuse.

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month, and the Noxubee County Department of Human Services organized the “Wear Blue” event to increase awareness of the problem, and to highlight services available.

There was music and face painting, and other activities for kids.
