Video: Marine Dances with Daughter at Tupelo Ball

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — A father who has returned home after serving his country in the United States Marine Corps is spending precious moments with his young daughter.

Bryan and Bella Grace Simmons danced the night away at the 2014 Gum Tree Father Daughter Ball.

Simmons recently returned to Mississippi after serving in California. He says now he is making up for lost time with his 3-year-old daughter.

In addition to spending the evening together, the family also supports Lebonheur Children’s Hospital as much as possible.

“She actually has a medical condition, she is seen at Lebonheur so anytime we have the opportunity to make any type of donation we do. And we really enjoy spending time together.  This is daddy’s little angel right here, right baby girl? ‘Yeah!’ So we’re here just to have a good time,” Bryan Simmons said.

Simmons plans to retire soon and spend more time with his daughter.
