COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Princess in downtown Columbus was packed with supporters to help raise funds for one very needed family.

Christopher McDill recently had emergency brain surgery after the finding of a tumor. Family and friends were able to come out in support to help play for the costly medical bills. A concert was held to raise money.

“I’ve been friends with the McDills for a long time, I’ve known them for a long time, I respect tem as people and they’re just genuine wonderful human beings. And they have hit this little tough time and I think it’s really great that the community is coming together and helping them,” said band member Jayson Triplett.

Donations were accepted from businesses and there was also a raffle for folks involved.
