TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – A group of hard working, high school seniors were honored this evening at the annual McDonald’s senior banquet.

It’s the fifth year for the Hudson Management Corporation to host the senior banquet.

Seniors who work at the McDonald’s in Tupelo, Pontotoc, New Albany and Saltillo can apply for the $1,000 dollar scholarship.

One senior from each location is chosen for the scholarship.

Rob Hudson, the owner of seven McDonald’s , says the students hard work deserves honor.

“I think it’s worthy to recognize how hard they work both at school and on the job and they’re really great role models for their peers,” said owner, Rob Hudson.

There is an application process for the students and all senior student employees are encouraged to apply.

McDonald’s has honored seniors for 15 years.
