Video: MDOT Talks Winter Preparedness at MUW

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) was on the MUW campus today with some timely tips on Winter driving preparedness.

It’s part of MDOT’s Winter Weather College Tour.

Officials set up in the cafeteria lobby to spread awareness about traveling in winter weather.

They reminded students and staff that the time to get your vehicle ready for winter weather is before a significant weather event.

MDOT personnel gave tips on driving in frigid weather, vehicle preparation, and putting together an emergency kit.
