Middler Schoolers Play Football with Former NFL Players

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Some Golden Triangle Middle Schoolers got the chance to spend the day with former Mississippi State and NFL football players.The Montgomery Leadership Program at Mississippi State University hosted a charity football camp today. The camp is a way to teach the kids to become better athletes but also teach them the importance of academic performance.  The kids got to learn football drills from the former players and then take a tour of the new football complex. During their tour they even had a chance to talk with Darius Slay, the former defensive back for Mississippi state who is expected to be drafted in this year’s NFL draft.
