STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Technology is changing every day. Even though we are still waiting on flying cars and robotic maids one entrepreneur is using one of the latest gadgets to produce a project of his own.

With Today’s technology,a world of information is available at a swipe.

But, what if you never had to lift a finger? That’s what tech giant Google is going with their latest gadget.

15,000 Americans are now in charge of testing Google Glass.

with Google glass you can take photos, watch videos, and even translates into another language.

Zach Land, a computer science major at Mississippi State University is using these glasses for more than fun.

“You activate by saying, ok glass, translate this and you select a language you want it to go to and then you just look at what you want to be translated and it will translate in real time right on the screen,” says Zach Land.

With the help of the entrepreneurship program at MSU, Land hopes he can design and launch a new video game.

“It is real like call of duty simulation where you get like a paint ball feel type of play where consumers come in and wear a display and it will show positions like a map would in call of duty. Also, I’m thinking about allowing everybody to hear your teammates with the device,” says Land.

“Zach’s project with Google glass is a good example of where innovation come together with technology to form something that could be great so the entrepreneurship center likes to invest in students like Zachary and projects that have a lot of potential that can be used to form potentially business ideas,” says Eric Hill.

Despite the many features, Zach believes Google Glass needs a few improvements before it hits the shelves.

“Right now I don’t know if they are ready for consumers cause there is little functionality. They need to add more apps to it before they can really sell the product,” says Land.

Zach will go before a panel of judges to pitch his idea.
